On this page, you will find Safewater Electric's Employee Handbook as well as other forms that you may need while working for SWE.

Employee Handbook

The purpose of the Employee handbook is used to provide employees with all necessary information about employment with Safewater Electric. You will receive a copy of the handbook during onboarding; however, please use this handbook throughout employment to provide you with necessary job-related information. This handbook is updated periodically. You will be notified if the handbook has been updated. 

All Full-time Safewater Electric, LLC employees will be issued a key to gain access to Safewater Electric, LLC facilities. Part Time and Temporary employees will be issued a key as needed for facility access. Employees who are issued a key are responsible for its safekeeping and will sign a key release form provided by Safewater Electric, LLC.

Paid Time Off (PTO) is an all-purpose time off policy for eligible employees to use for vacation, illness, injury, or personal business. PTO combines traditional vacation and sick leave plans into one flexible, inclusive policy. PTO is payable in the same manner as hourly pay and is subject to the same withholding elections. PTO is excluded from overtime accrual. Time-off may also be requested unpaid.
